Legend of Zelda Oracle of Ages was originally released for the Game Boy Color. It is a puzzle-centric adventure where players control Link as he travels through time to save the land of Labrynna from the sorceress Veran. 

Key GBA Features

• The Advance Shop: When played on a GBA, a special "Advance Shop" opens in Lynna Village.
• GBA-Exclusive Items: The shop sells unique items like the GBA Time Ring, which is only obtainable when playing on GBA hardware.
• Enhanced Color Palette: The GBA hardware often provides a slightly brighter color palette for Game Boy Color games to compensate for the original non-backlit GBA screen. 

Core Gameplay & Mechanics

• Harp of Ages: The central item used to manipulate time, allowing Link to travel between Labrynna's past and present to solve environmental puzzles.
• Puzzle Focus: Unlike its counterpart, Oracle of Seasons (which focuses on action), Ages is renowned for its "head-scratching" and intricate dungeon puzzles.
• Password Linking: Players can use a password system to link Ages with Oracle of Seasons. Doing so unlocks a "True Ending" featuring Princess Zelda and Ganon, as well as transferred items and upgraded weapons.
• Animal Companions: Depending on player choices, Link can enlist the help of Moosh (a flying bear), Dimitri (a swimming dodongo), or Ricky (a boxing kangaroo) to navigate different terrains.
